About

Youth Internet Governance Forum (YIGF) Bangladesh is an initiative under the umbrella of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) in conjunction with the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UNIGF). It is a multi-stakeholder, youth and youth women-led platform to engage in Internet governance-related issues.

Our Vision & Mission

The Vision of Youth IGF Bangladesh is to encourage our youth to contribute to national, regional and international Internet Governance and be part of the movement which is helping to increase youth participation in the Internet ecosystem.

The Mission of Youth IGF Bangladesh is to prepare and inspire a new generation of Bangladeshi youth for constructive engagement and empowerment for a sustainable future in the internet governance.

Youth IGF Bangladesh Strategies

Youths are the future leaders of the nation. Our aim is to inspire the youths and new generation (Ages 18 to below 40)
for constructive engagement and empowerment for a sustainable future in the internet governance.

Building capacity: Enable and empowering youth and young generation in fairer digitalization process through constructive engagement in internet ecosystem through building their capacity

Organize Research and development: Promote a youth-centered approach to build up human expertise and amplifying their voices through organizing research and development

Provide Technical cooperation: Provide technical support for a strong Forum/Organization/Fellowship under the guidance of BIGF to serve the interest of the youth community of the country and reduce the digital divide through influencing policy-makers.
